Twist Library was exhibited in Louisiana Museum

In July 2007, Studio Twist completed design of the Twist Library and exhibited a virtual reality project simulation in Louisiana Museum in the exhibition named “Frontiers of Architecture, Cecil Belmond”. Parkview International asked Studio Twist to re-design the interior of the Twist Building previously authored by Arup from a Showcase / Office building into a Library. The Twist is envisioned as the “Gateway” building between 2 sides of the façade, a symbol of openness, a place of no-limits communication. The library makes full use of the column-less interior space and the double volume on each floor, where the seamless connection between each floor leads the library user through the information classification system whilst interacting with the central atrium and the surrounding spaces.
